The big question in Hollywood now is whether the next guest villain in the new series would be...CATWOMAN!
"Angelina would own the part," says Julie, of Jolie, in a near full-page interview with Patricia Towle in the Monday July 28th N.Y. DAILY NEWS. "I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love. She's tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess. When you look at the staggering box office of this current film, which actress wouldn't want to jump in?"
The newspaper notes, "Dark Knight still King: $300M in 10 days." So the producers could easily afford Jolie's salary. With nine lives seeming to have passed since Michelle Pfeiffer donned a catsuit (1992) and critical displeasure with Halle Berry (she "bombed in 2004's Catwoman," the paper notes), there's good reason to play Devil's advocate over Angelina.
Elsewhere in the article, Ms. Towle and Julie discuss Charcot-Marie-Tooth, which is not a dental disorder, but a neuromuscular disease. "My symptoms started around 2000, when I found walking difficult," Julie tells the paper. As fans who've been to autograph shows know, Julie's funny and frisky at her signing table, but indeed, her entry or exit from the convention area takes a bit of time: "I walk but very slowly," she admits.
One reason Julie went public was that she didn't want folks to think there might be some other reason for her slow walk: "People might think I've had too much to drink, but I never drank, smoked or took drugs my entire life. If I'm out in public, I grab on to some charming, darling fellow who can steady me."
Right, which tends to make the fellow a little unsteady, out of sheer delight.

Very interesting to learn about Julie's diagnosis of Charcot Marie Tooth disease. She might make a good spokesperson at the CMTUS Conference next June.
