Memorable Parties!

There were some fun moments in the offbeat cult films "Hysterical" and "The Maltese Bippy."

From the looks of these two pictures, there was even more fun at the press parties! Cropped out on the left was Troy Donahue, who turned up at the "Hysterical" proceedings. I'm not sure who was at "The Maltese Bippy" party. I met Fritz Weaver a few years ago, and mentioned the film

He smiled, not in recalling the film or Rowan and Martin, but in remembering the home-made brownies Julie brought to the set! "You bet your sweet bippy!"

Bloomin' Beautiful. A view of the garden

In many parts of the country, the summer clothes are being put in storage. People are ready to take The Fall. The leaves will soon be dropping off the trees.

But in California, there's always flowers in bloom, especially in Julie's garden.

Back in New York, where Julie once had an apartment, the New Yawk phrase for telling a bunch of people to get lost is: "Be Gone, Yez."
