Julie Rides to RHODE ISLAND, November 2nd

Batman and Catwoman will be at the Rhode Island Comic Con, November 2-3, "the biggest show in the smallest state."

Come and get some dual-signature photos signed by both ADAM WEST and JULIE NEWMAR.

And "never say NEVER AGAIN..." they will be joined by the mighty mites, Robin and Batgirl. Yes, coming out of retirement yet again, Burt Ward and Yvonne Craig will once more wield pens and THWAPP some autographs.

Also at the event, such fun names as Craig Yoe, Bob Eggleton, James Biggie, Zeke Savory, Randall Trang, and Renee Wittestatter. (Those ARE fun names!)

Guaranteed to be just a tad different from other Comic Cons, the RICC offers "Kids Con," an area for 10 and unders to enjoy story time, drawing, face painting and even magic lightsaber training, and "Get MARRIED at Rhode Island Comic Con...100% Legal!"

For more info on this, and a full list of the other guests at the event, just go over to RICOMICCON.COM.

The Bobble Heads Dropped the Ball

Julie calls it a "visual choking hazard."

This could apply to almost every "bobble head" doll ever made. The only person with a giant head that actuallly wobbles back and forth is Jay Leno. Otherwise, who really needs such a peculiar caricature sitting on a shelf or on a desk, goonishly jittering any time the wind blows?

In the case of Julie, there isn't much of a likeness, is there? Looks more like Brett or Edna...

If Julie's ancestor was on Facebook...

Julie's witty observations on the news, and her opinons on all kinds of issues turn up regularly on her FACEBOOK page. Now, what would've happened if Charlotte Cushman had FACEBOOK in her day? Or Twitter??

As some of you may know, America's foremost actress of a bygone era (1850's to 1870's approximately) is an integral part of Julie's family tree. Take a look below. When Charlotte was asked for her autograph, she often did more than sign her name. She offered words of wisdom.

This scrap of faded paper, with her signature, starts off with this unusual thought:

"All hoods make not monks."

HOLY SHIRT! And...WHAT A DOLL...

After the "Dark Knight" people wanna lighten up...which is why there are new deals on the way for the "Batman" series to re-run on TV, and for fans to get the quality merchandise they crave. Among the items soon to hit the stores, an official "Catwoman" t-shirt...

....and the most realistic statuette yet...

Fans of Rhoda the Robot could buy a second one of these, and modify it a bit...just get a white sheet and stencil "AF-709" on it and wrap it around Julie from the neck down. Thene make sure to get some flesh-colored enamel paint and smooth the eyebrows. This model of Catwoman follow's Julie's creative eyebrow design, which made our favorite feline felon look even more dangerously feral! Nice detail on this item, huh?
